Did not have any problem getting it connected to my iMac desktop, and I'm ok with the scan quality. Hawa hawa e hawa khushbu luta de mp3 song. I got it because I'm a real estate agent and it's nice to be able to scan a signed document and then hand the original back to a client instead of taking it back to the office, scanning, uploading, then trekking back to a client's home. HOWEVER, the most frustrating thing about the one that I have is that it commonly does not recognize that there is a paper, or papers, in the intake slot. Then you get an error message--have to turn the machine off--quit the program on the computer--start everything back up again. If it only happened every now and then, that would be one thing. But it happens very frequently, like more than 50% of the time, and it really bogs down the workflow process. For background, I'm decently tech-savvy (not IT level, mind you) and have had a number of higher-end dedicated desktop scanners, not like a flatbed built into a MFP device, over the years. I really wanted a portable scanner for in the field but this one has not proven itself consistently reliable enough to make it off my desktop and into the field. This is a review for the ES-300W Wireless Portable Duplex Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I had very hard time to automatically set up a wireless connection, so finally I gave up and set it up using USB connection. As soon as the installation was finished, I scanned my first documents with it and I fell in love with this scanner. The quality of a scanned documents is amazing and it scanned them in just a few seconds! I also loved that this scanner has a little pocket for ID, credit or business card scanning. However, it was not very clear at first how to scan a plastic card. I didn't understand if I had to push it all the way or just put the edge of the plastic card and the scanner takes it, but second time was successful. This Epson ES-300 scanner is amazing for someone who travel for business and needs to scan documents on their trip. It is so small and light. You can even put it in your backpack. Overall, I had a great experience with this scanner, it does its job very well. I did not expect that such a small scanner can perform that great! I was truly amazed at the compactness of the Epson WorkForce ES-300W. I was a little skeptical about it, thinking it would be bulky and hard to use. Quite the opposite! It is roughly the width of my Yeti cup and slightly taller. It also fits at the bottom of my computer case, along with my computer. How convenient is that? You can plug it in, use the USB cable or battery. The scanner is easy to open and folds out at the touch of a button. The top lifts up and the paper guide slides open easily. The edge guide slides out to accommodate various sizes of paper. It also has a special area made for business cards with just a switch of a button. If you toggle the button to the left, it will accept business cards. If you toggle the button to the right it will accommodate paper of various sizes. The other thing I really like about this scanner is that you do not even need an electrical outlet. I can use the USB cable that runs from the scanner to my laptop and scan documents in my car. The wireless feature is wonderful too. It was easy to download and install the free Epson app to my phone.
